The Palmer Course at Reunion Resort & Club is a premier, upscale course at one of Orlando s true golf havens. Located just south of Disney World, Reunion Resort & Club is a vast, 2,300 acre gated community that boasts three distinctly different championship signature golf courses designed by all-time greats of the game Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, and Tom Watson. Tee times are restricted exclusively to members and resort guests. The Palmer Course at Reunion Resort & Club, originally known as the Legacy Course, has appeared on Golf Advisor s list of the Top Courses in Florida and in 2021 it made Golf Advisor s prestigious Golfers Choice Awards, a national honor roll of top-rated courses. Palmer s layout, which winds amidst housing on intriguing terrain that dips and rises with up to 50 feet of elevation changes, features wide fairways, big greens and both natural and man-made water hazards. It is as close to a resort-style course as Reunion offers, but it is very challenging as well. Five sets of tee markers (plus two additional combo teeing options) ensure that players of diverse skill levels can find a manageable distance between 4,795 yards and 6,916 yards. Though the main hazards are sandy waste areas, wetlands and greenside bunkers, the most memorable holes Palmer Course at Reunion Resort & Club feature forced carries over water. This is a strong driving course that invites long hitters to swing with abandon on a few heroic tee shots, including a signature drivable par-4 that plays over a lake. The large, sloping and undulating greens add still more fun to the game.
